つい先日サービスが開始され、こっそりと話題になっている
新規動画配信サービス「Mildom(ミルダム)」
中国大手(DouYu(ドウユウ)の日本版サイトで、
日本では三井物産と共同で新会社「 株式会社DouYu Japan 」を設立しての上陸。
複数のサイトがせめぎ合う中、今頃感もあるのでどうやって配信者を
集めるのか気になっていましたが、なんと時給500円以上を謳い文句にスタート。
正直なところサイトの構造もsimple且つチープで、
大手が絡んでいなかったら明らかに見た目は胡散臭いサイト。
募集要項も未成年もターゲットにしたような注意書きも多く、
正直な感想としてはかなり危なっかしい。
YouTubeでは未成年の出演する動画に規制が入りつつあるような状況のなか、
誰でも時給500円以上が可能なような表現が多く、まだ誰も報酬を
得れていないはずなので半信半疑になるのは当然のこと。
実際に複数回テスト配信してみましたが、フルHDでの配信は出来ないものの、
配信自体は安定しています。
ただ、配信アプリ側で未対応の部分も多くカスタム設定から手動で
設定しなければならないめんどくさい部分もあり、他のサイトで
配信している人は初回の変更の手間も多いかと思います。
配信している際のチャット欄は個人的な主観だとTwitchに似ていて、
配信に視聴者が入った際にログ表示もあります。(オンオフ可)
視聴画面はPCとスマホで結構な差異があり、スマホだと滞在時間で
アイテムが手に入り配信者に送ったりすることも可能です。
PC側ではよくあるタップでのハートポチポチ機能がありますが、特に意味は無かったです。。。
あとは一番多くの人が食らいつくであろう時給500円以上の件。
実際には1回あたり配信時間1時間半以上の放送が必要で、
1日あたり4時間分までが報酬対象となるようです。
また、今後は時給アップや月契約のプラン等の可能性もほのめかされていますが、
実際のところは不明な部分が多いです。
個人的には上陸前のニュースから注視していたため非常に楽しみにしていましたが、
現時点で広告が無いこと、最低時給500円以上を維持するための資金源、
という点が不透明過ぎて信頼するのは難しい、と本来であれば思ったりするところです。
ただ、初年度の資本金が4億円、現在は全然配信者も視聴者もいませんが、
仮に配信者が増えて毎日1000人の人が4時間分の収益を得たとして
1か月(30日)で6000万円、10月から3月決算までを想定した場合、
3億6000万円と考えるとまだ現実的な感じはしなくはないです。
何故なら事前のニュースで後発であることは理解しているし、配信者を
集める苦労も想定しているようなコメントをしていたため、
数年単位の赤字の想定、プロチームのスポンサードによる知名度アップ、
他サイトの有名配信者の引き抜き、企業との広告タイアップ等、
あらかじめ多数のことが折り込み済みな可能性も高いと考えられます。
新規企業であれば疑わしいところですが、三井物産がついている、
という点はかなり安心感に繋がる要素だと思うのでやってみる価値はあるかと思います。
