Mildom(ミルダム)サービス開始から1年。
1周年おめでとうございます。
いろいろありつつも現状は今のところサービス継続しています。
個人的な視点で良い点、悪い点を簡単に。
※オープン以降、現在もトロロさんは毎日配信中です。リンク(クリックで飛びます)
※事実に基づいて記事にしています。
※ざっと書いたので後日読み返し訂正する場合があります。
良い点。
esportsの発展と配信者やプロの選手の活動を仕事とするべくサービスが始まっただけに、報酬面では他を圧倒している点はかなり優れた点だと思います。
配信活動には設備面で初期投資が必要ですが、Mildomで上手くやれればかなり早い段階で回収出来るでしょう。
配信スタート時から収益化してのスタートであること(スタート時はギフトやボーナスのみ)
この点だけでも他のサイトではある程度の活動と実績がないと受けられない恩恵です。
L1配信者～公認配信者となれば時給や月給、ボーナス加算等、優遇される点もあります。
プロの選手やストリーマーを抱えた事務所等は法人間の契約により初めから公認配信者としてのスタートも。
※大会運営、チームや選手との契約等にはとても積極的でかなり投資もしています。
サイト内には広告も無く、それによりサイトトップページの読み込みが重くなるようなことは皆無です。
※ストリーミングについては後述
また、運営との距離感は比較的近く、問い合わせや不具合対応等のレスポンスは比較的早い方です。
※問題点もあります
一部ゲームタイトルを対象に賞金の得られるイベントを随時行っていますが、参加手続きが面倒で、参加者が極端に少ないため参加するだけで賞金を得られる場合も多々あります。
悪い点。
一番重要な点ですが、配信が飛ぶ、部分的に重複リピートされるなど、一部不安定なこと、
また、アーカイブも公認配信者以外認められておらず、見逃すと見れません。
この点はサービス開始時から変わっておらず、サーバの問題もあるため今後もしばらくは続く可能性が高いと思います。

また、ミルダムを語る上で避けては通れない点として、著作権侵害問題があります。
ミルダムは国内大手メーカーから配信許諾を取っていません。(任天堂、cygamesは破談、配信不可になりました)

一部大手メーカーのタイトルはガイドラインを守れば配信可能な場合もありますが、それを違反していても運営側が対処することはありません。(自己責任という概念です)
自己責任という点は理解出来ますが、運営が関与している番組や配信でも権利侵害してきた事実もあります。
番組はもちろんですが、公認配信者の管理は書面で契約している以上、配信者はもちろんのこと、ミルダムにも大いに責任はあるかと思います。
※配信者からの配信可否確認を行ってもグレーな回答を行ってきた事実があります。
※任天堂との契約破談以降、運営から明確な回答は得られなくなりました。
また、ガイドライン違反に当たるメーカータイトル(配信不可、収益化不可なゲーム)をサイトに設定している現状です。
この点は言い訳出来ない部分だと思いますので早期に対応していただきたいです。
悪い点については法に触れている部分もあるので、今後も健全な運営をするのであればクリーンにする必要があると思います。
当たり前のことを守れないのは組織として今後も障害になると思うので早期改善を願っています。
