IE40との違いは？
スペックを見てお気づきの方もいるかもしれませんが、IE 40 PROと数値は瓜二つ。
カラーとコネクター以外はおそらく同等かと思います。
主観ですが音も同じです。

大きなポイントとしてはPentaconnコネクターが採用されている点。
※下の画像のBTコネクターの先端でわかるかもです
耐久性や音質が優れていると言われていますが、まだまだ採用メーカーも少なく、リケーブル市場もこれからといった感じです。
デメリットとしてはリケーブル製品が非常にお高いところ。

上位機種との差異
普段IE500 PROを常用しているのですが、それと比較するとIE100はスペックの数値の通り全体のレンジが少々狭く、特にローＢより下のベースの再生の弱さを感じています。
ですが音の分離等はとても良く、パートごとの分離感は心地いいです。
この辺りは音楽ジャンルや好みイコライザーの調整などの要素もあるので個人差が大きいかと思います。
ベースでローBよりさらに下など、ダウンチューニング且つ、音圧高めなどを好む場合は上位機種(IE500、IE400)などの選択をオススメします。
価格差はありますが絶対その方が後悔はしないです。
または同日に発売されたIE300(こちらはMMCX)という選択もアリかと思います。

IE100付属のケーブルはやや弱そうな感じですが、音質面に大きな差はないようです。
IE500の純正ケーブルと入れ替えて試聴してみましたが主観では差はなく、本体側のスペック差の方が大きいようでした。

限定バンドルとされているリモコンですが、PentaconnコネクターのBTリモコンは現状ではこの製品だけかと思われるので一定の需要はあるかと思います。
※パッケージにも書かれていますがIE500でも使えます。
パッケージは2個1で開封すると中でそれぞれのパッケージになっていたので、おそらく今後は個別に販売されるのでしょう。
欲しい人は発売まで待つか、現状だとまだ少し市場に残っているBTバンドルパックを購入してもいいかと思います。
よくあるBTタイプのリモコンと使用感は変わらないです。
ペアリングもボタン一つでわかりやすい仕様です。

注意点ですが、専門店(e☆イヤホン)と家電量販店とで販売価格に差があります。
また、モール系に出店している店舗でも制約があるのかモールでは販売していません。
ポイント還元で同等な価格ラインになるようになっている場合も多いですが念のため確認してから購入しましょう。
ゲーム用途での使用は？
上記までは音楽的な視点に寄せてのレビューでしたが、ここからはゲーミングデバイスとしての使用感です。
FPSプレイ時の足音等の定位感については問題ありません。
普段FPSタイトルをプレイする時にサウンドブラスターG6を使用し、IE500でゲーム音を聞いていますが、IE100でも十分に定位感は取れてプレイ出来ました。
主観でSENNHEISERは総じて定位感が良いブランドだと思っています。
※トロロさんがプレイするFPSタイトルはVALORANT、Apex Legends、PUBG等です。
ただ、上記でも書いていた通り、レンジがやや狭いので若干イコライザーの調整を入れ、いつもの感覚に近い状態に持っていくために、低域少しだけ上げ、高域も少し上げるとIE500でプレイしている時にかなり似せるように出来た、という感じです。(同じにはならない)
基本的にどのゲームタイトルも自分でイコライザーの調整をしてプリセットを作るので個人差もあるかと思われますが、最近はヘッドホンアンプがそれなりに優秀なものが多いのでIE100(IE40)でも十分にプレイ可能でしょう。
EPOSブランドとしてSENNHEISERもゲーミング展開しているのでGSXシリーズも試したいと思っています。
